My Muse

Today my muse came back. She was in St. T. We chatted for quite a while during a meeting she had. The time went quickly. She made me laugh and made me playful.

I think she's perfect for my creative energies.

First Acceptance

A poem finally lands with an editor. The new e-zine Ampersand will be publishing my poem "Breasts" in its inaugural issue.

I look forward to seeing it. It has been a little longer than I anticipated, but now that I am older, I am not easily dissuaded. I have other poems submitted to various publications. Time will tell, but this is the first to find a home.

I consider it a very small victory but a victory nonetheless.

"Breasts" went out only once.
